The Pershing County Mustangs thwarted the host North Tahoe Lakers football team by a count of 28-20 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Pershing County upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Mustangs host West Wendover (West Wendover, NV) to encounter the Wolverines in a 2A Northern outing on Thursday, October 13. The Wolverines go into the outing with a record of 0-4.
