October 1, 2024: Cameron, NC 28326 The Union Pines Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Richmond Raiders to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hoke County for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 3. Union Pines will play a Bucks team coming off a 2-0 league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 15-3.
With the loss, Richmond drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Raiders host Lee County (Sanford, NC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 3.
