September 25, 2024: Laurinburg, NC 28352 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) and the visiting Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), observed Scotland's volleyball team hold off Union Pines by a tally of 2-1.
The Fighting Scots (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record.
Next, the Vikings meet the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Union Pines will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 5-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC).
