New York High School Volleyball - Wilson Magnet can't get by Monroe
October 1, 2024: Rochester, NY 14607 The Monroe Red Jackets edged the visiting Wilson Magnet Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Red Jackets face the Early College Sharks (Yonkers, NY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 3. Monroe will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Sharks go into the game with a 3-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Franklin (Rochester, NY).
The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their game against School of the Arts (Rochester, NY). The Silverhawks go into the Section 5 Rochester game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, School of the Arts nudged World of Inquiry (Rochester, NY), 3-1, in a non-league game.
