The crowd at Wednesday's league contest between the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) and the host Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA), witnessed Newport Harbor's flag football squad knock off Edison by a tally of 27-7.

With the win, Newport Harbor advances its record to 19-2 on the season. The Sailors host Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA) to encounter the Jesters in a non-league bout on Monday, October 6. The Jesters enter the contest with a record of 16-1. Saint Joseph won 36-6 in their recent league contest against Serra (Gardena, CA)

Coming up next, the Chargers confront the Marina Vikings (Huntington Beach, CA) in a Sunset contest, on Monday, October 6. Edison will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 4-12 record after their 14-13 league win over Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA).
