South Carolina High School Football - North Augusta prevails Aiken
October 1, 2025: Aiken, SC 29801 North Augusta Yellow Jackets (North Augusta, SC) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC), 42-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, North Augusta improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets travel to Aquinas (Augusta, GA) to meet the Fightin' Irish in a non-league match on Thursday, October 2. The Fightin' Irish come into the match with a record of 0-0.
Coming up next, the Fighting Green Hornets meet the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 8. Aiken will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 44-0 league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC).
