October 16, 2025: Graniteville, SC 29829 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Aiken Fighting Green Hornets football squad scored a close 14-12 triumph over the Midland Valley Mustangs.
The Fighting Green Hornets (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles come into the match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Gray Collegiate Academy tipped South Aiken (Aiken, SC), 41-14, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 23. Midland Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Thoroughbreds go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 41-14 league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC).
