In their next game, the Cougars face the Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Southwestern Randolph will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 38-0 non-league win over Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
With the defeat, Wheatmore drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host East Davidson (Thomasville, NC) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9. The Golden Eagles come into the outing with a record of 2-4. East Davidson won 40-6 in their recent non-league outing against Trinity (Trinity, NC)
