North Carolina High School Football - East Davidson can't hold off Wheatmore
October 9, 2025: Trinity, NC 27370 Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), 14-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Wheatmore improves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to West Davidson (Lexington, NC) to play the Dragons in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 16. The Dragons go into the battle with a record of 2-5. West Davidson won 31-0 in their recent non-league battle against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC)
The Golden Eagles now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Providence Grove for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 16. East Davidson will play a Patriots team coming off a 24-0 non-league win over Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-4.
