October 10, 2023: Fruitvale, TX 75127 The Como-Pickton Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Fruitvale Bobcats to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 23-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alba-Golden for a 2A Region II District 12 game on Friday, October 13. Como-Pickton will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-14.
The Bobcats (4-18) will now prepare for their game against Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Trojans enter the 2A Region II District 12 game with a 5-24 record. In their last contest, Cumby fell by North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.
