September 26, 2023: Alba, TX 75410 The Como-Pickton Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Alba-Golden Panthers to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 20-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boles for a 2A Region II District 12 game on Friday, September 29. Como-Pickton will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-11.
The Panthers (7-13) will now prepare for their game against Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Trojans enter the 2A Region II District 12 game with a 4-20 record. In their last game, Cumby dropped by Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
