October 10, 2023: Fairfield, IA 52556 The Fairfield Trojans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Washington Demons to 0 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now possess a 18-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albia for a non-league game on Thursday, October 12. Fairfield will meet a Blue Demons team coming off a 3-2 league win over Centerville (Centerville, IA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 18-9.
The Demons (15-16) will now prepare for their battle against Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Columbus achieved victory over Pekin (Packwood, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.
