October 3, 2023: Fort Madison, IA 52627 The Washington Demons topped the host Fort Madison Bloodhounds volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Demons now have a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host WACO for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Washington will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-7.
The Bloodhounds (6-19) will now prepare for their test against Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA). The Cardinals enter the non-league test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Maquoketa was knocked off by Camanche (Camanche, IA), 3-2, in a non-league test.
