Iowa High School Volleyball - Fort Madison edged by Mt. Pleasant
October 3, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641 The Mt. Pleasant Panthers held off the visiting Fort Madison Bloodhounds volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers now have a 7-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshalltown for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-17.
The Bloodhounds (6-19) will now prepare for their test against Fairfield (Fairfield, IA). The Trojans enter the Southeast test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Fairfield held off Burlington (Burlington, IA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
