October 10, 2023: Princeton, WV 24740 Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Raiders face the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 10. Liberty will attempt to better on its 16-19 season record. The Flying Eagles go into the contest with a 20-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV).
With the loss, PikeView moves to 2-28 on the year. The Panthers travel to Princeton (Princeton, WV) to face the Tigers in a Mountain State contest on Thursday, October 12. The Tigers go into the contest with a record of 27-6. Princeton lost 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against James Monroe (Lindside, WV)
