October 10, 2023: Vinton, VA 24179 The William Byrd Terriers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles to 0 in the Terriers league victory on Tuesday.
The Terriers now have a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a Blue Ridge game on Thursday, October 12. William Byrd will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.
The Golden Eagles (6-11) will now prepare for their game against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings enter the Blue Ridge game with a 2-18 record. In their last game, Northside dropped by Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
