Virginia High School Volleyball - William Byrd overwhelmed by Lord Botetourt
September 19, 2023: Vinton, VA 24179 In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Lord Botetourt Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the William Byrd Terriers.
The Cavaliers (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings come into the Blue Ridge battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, Northside achieved victory over Fleming (Roanoke, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Terriers clash with the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a Blue Ridge battle, on Thursday, September 21. William Byrd will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the battle with a 3-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA).
