Mendez Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA), 12-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Mendez advances its record to 5-12 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a Central battle on Thursday, October 17. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 13-6. Elizabeth won 18-0 in their recent league battle against Roybal (Los Angeles, CA)
