October 10, 2024: Princeton, WV 24740 Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), 3-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Shady Spring moves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV) to clash with the Grizzlies in a Coalfield AA test on Tuesday, October 15. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 6-6. Nicholas County lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Capital (Charleston, WV)
The Panthers now sport a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Charleston for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. PikeView will clash with a Black Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Black Eagles record now stands at 6-11.
