In Friday's league game, the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) football team triumphed over the visiting Centennial Broncos (Utica, NE), by a tally of 40-6.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE) in a D1 District 6 (8 Man) game, on Friday, October 17.
