North Carolina High School Football - Weddington prevails Cuthbertson

October 10, 2025: Waxhaw, NC 28173

In Friday's league match, the visiting Weddington Warriors football squad scored a good 34-7 win over the Cuthbertson Cavaliers.

With the win, Weddington advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Warriors host Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to play the Pirates in a Southern Carolina 6A/7A battle on Friday, October 17. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 6-2. Porter Ridge won 23-21 in their recent league battle against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC)

Coming up next, the Cavaliers meet the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a Southern Carolina 6A/7A challenge, on Friday, October 24. Cuthbertson will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
