North Carolina High School Football - Cuthbertson crushed by Sun Valley

The Sun Valley Spartans walloped the visiting Cuthbertson Cavaliers football team by a score of 35-3 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans play the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a Southern Carolina 6A/7A challenge, on Friday, October 10. Sun Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 14-13 league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).

With the defeat, Cuthbertson drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Weddington (Matthews, NC) to meet the Warriors in a Southern Carolina 6A/7A test on Friday, October 10. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 6-1. Weddington won 47-0 in their recent league test against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC)
