The Frontier Cougars felled the visiting Magnolia Blue Eagles football team by a score of 34-22 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH) in a Ohio Valley AA test, on Friday, October 17. Frontier will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Zeps come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 33-0 league win over River (Hannibal, OH).

With the defeat, Magnolia drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Blue eagles travel to St. Marys (St. Marys, WV) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Friday, October 17. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 4-2. St. Marys won 42-20 in their recent league test against Gilmer County (Glenville, WV)
