Selma Bears (Selma, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Hanford West Huskies (Hanford, CA), 53-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Selma advances its record to 2-5 on the season. The Bears host Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA) to encounter the Golden Bears in a Tri-County - Sequoia battle on Friday, October 17. The Golden Bears go into the battle with a record of 3-4. Sierra Pacific lost 56-6 in their recent league battle against Immanuel (Reedley, CA)

The Huskies now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Exeter for a Tri-County - Sequoia match on Thursday, October 16. Hanford West will confront a Monarchs squad coming off a 31-0 non-league loss to Washington Union (Fresno, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 3-4.
