Exeter Monarchs (Exeter, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Selma Bears (Selma, CA), 35-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Exeter advances its record to 5-4 on the season. The Monarchs host Immanuel (Reedley, CA) to confront the Eagles in a Tri-County - Sequoia match on Friday, October 31. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 9-0. Immanuel won 49-0 in their recent league match against Hanford West (Hanford, CA)

Coming up next, the Bears confront the Kingsburg Vikings (Kingsburg, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 31. Selma will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Vikings go into the battle with a 6-3 record after their 44-13 league win over Reedley (Reedley, CA).
