California High School Football - Selma nudges Sierra Pacific

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Selma Bears (Selma, CA) and the visiting Sierra Pacific Golden Bears (Hanford, CA), saw Selma's football team nip Sierra Pacific by a final score of 23-20.

With the win, Selma advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Bears travel to Exeter (Exeter, CA) to encounter the Monarchs in a Tri-County - Sequoia bout on Friday, October 24. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Exeter won 40-0 in their recent league bout against Hanford West (Hanford, CA)

The Golden Bears now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kerman for a non-league bout on Friday, October 24. Sierra Pacific will confront a Lions squad coming off a 10-7 league loss to Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA). The Lions record now stands at 6-2.
