Texas High School Football - Harleton tops Hawkins
October 10, 2025: Harleton, TX 75651 The Harleton Wildcats football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Hawkins Hawks to 12 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union Grove for a 2A-1 Region III District 10 test on Thursday, October 23. Harleton will meet a Lions squad coming off a 26-15 league win over Ore City (Ore City, TX). The Lions record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Hawkins drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Hawks host Beckville (Beckville, TX) to face the Bearcats in a 2A-1 Region III District 10 challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Beckville won 45-34 in their recent league challenge against Waskom (Waskom, TX)
