The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA) and the host Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA), witnessed Menlo School's football squad topple Menlo-Atherton by a count of 37-7.

The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Vikings enter the Peninsula - Bay contest with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Palo Alto was topped by Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA), 49-13, in a league battle.

The Bears now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Sacred Heart Prep for a Peninsula - Bay match on Friday, October 17. Menlo-Atherton will confront a Gators squad coming off a 47-0 league loss to Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Gators record now stands at 4-2.
