The Saluda Tigers walloped the visiting Pelion Panthers football team by a score of 51-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC) in a AA Region 2 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Saluda will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 49-14 league loss to Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC).

The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC). The Rebels come into the AA Region 2 outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Strom Thurmond trounced American Leadership Academy (Lexington, SC), 54-0, in a league outing.
