In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Desert Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Nogales Apaches.

The Eagles (20-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Sunnyside was defeated by Marana (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a league test.

The Apaches now own a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buena for a 5A - Southern test on Monday, October 20.
