The Desert Christian Eagles topped the visiting Morenci Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 18. Desert Christian will attempt to advance on its 23-8 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 1-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to San Tan Charter (Gilbert, AZ).

With the loss, Morenci drops to 11-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host San Miguel (Tucson, AZ) to play the Vipers in a 2A - South outing on Monday, October 20. The Vipers come into the outing with a record of 3-18. San Miguel lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ)
