Fans at Friday's league contest between the Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX) and the host Long Creek Dragons (New Braunfels, TX), observed Wimberley's volleyball team top Long Creek by a count of 3-0.

The Texans (37-5) will now prepare for their contest against Davenport (San Antonio, TX). The Wolves go into the 4A Region IV District 26 battle with a 31-7 record. In their last battle, Davenport achieved victory over Bandera (Bandera, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Dragons now own a 8-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canyon Lake for a 4A Region IV District 26 battle on Tuesday, October 14. Long Creek will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 19-14.
