The Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD) volleyball held off the host St. Francis Indian Warriors (St. Francis, SD), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Sioux now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Tiospaye Topa for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. Lower Brule will clash with a Thunderhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 2-18.
