In Friday's non-league challenge, the host St. Francis Indian Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Wakpala Sioux.

With the win, St. Francis Indian improves its record to 6-18 on the season. The Warriors travel to Takini (Howes, SD) to face the Skyhawks in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Skyhawks go into the test with a record of 4-10. Takini lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD)

The Sioux now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cheyenne-Eagle Butte for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. Wakpala will meet a Braves team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Takini (Howes, SD). The Braves record now stands at 9-11.
