The Enka Jets (Enka, NC) volleyball overcame the host North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Enka upgrades its record to 13-6 on the year. The Jets host Polk County (Columbus, NC) to face the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 12. The Wolverines go into the outing with a record of 19-1. Polk County won 3-0 in their recent league outing against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC)

The Black Hawks now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they host Asheville for a The Mountain 3A/4A outing on Thursday, October 13. North Buncombe will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over McDowell (Marion, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 10-4.
