In Tuesday's league contest, the Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Enka Jets (Enka, NC) in a The Mountain 3A/4A contest, on Thursday, September 22. Asheville will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Jets go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC).
