The Holmes Aces volleyball team (Edenton, NC), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC)

The Nighthawks (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins come into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Manteo defeated Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Aces encounter the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge, on Thursday, October 13. Holmes will attempt to move on its 7-13 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 18-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC).
