The First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) volleyball were winner over the visiting Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, First Flight betters its record to 5-3 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Holmes (Edenton, NC) to face the Aces in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A outing on Thursday, September 15. The Aces go into the outing with a record of 5-6. Holmes lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Currituck County (Barco, NC)

The Bears now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Camden County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A outing on Thursday, September 15. Hertford County will face a Bruins squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 8-0.
