October 11, 2022: George West, TX 78022 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) and the host George West Longhorns (George West, TX), saw Taft's volleyball squad beat George West by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Greyhounds host Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX) to play the Panthers in a 3A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 16-14.
The Longhorns now own a 7-17 record. They play next when they host Benavides for a non-league bout on Friday, October 14.
