October 11, 2023: Maxwell, NM 87728 The Wagon Mound Trojans volleyball team (Wagon Mound, NM), went down 3-1 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM)
The Bears (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Springer (Springer, NM). The Red Devils come into the 1A District 5 challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Springer defeated Cimarron (Cimarron, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans encounter the Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) in a 1A District 5 challenge, on Monday, October 16. Wagon Mound will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM).
