New Mexico High School Volleyball - Maxwell edged by Des Moines
October 21, 2023: Maxwell, NM 87728 The Des Moines Demons held off the host Maxwell Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Saturday's league test.
The Demons now have a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springer for a 1A District 5 test on Thursday, October 26.
The Bears (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM). The Trojans enter the 1A District 5 test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Wagon Mound was nudged by Springer (Springer, NM), 3-0, in a league test.
