Washington High School Football - Davis can't hold off Sunnyside
October 11, 2024: Yakima, WA 98902 The Sunnyside Grizzlies got by the host Davis Pirates football team by a score of 42-35 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Grizzlies play the Hanford Falcons (Richland, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 18. Sunnyside will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 34-7 league win over Hermiston (Hermiston, WA).
The Pirates (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Wenatchee (Wenatchee, WA). The Panthers go into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Wenatchee was edged by West Valley (Yakima, WA), 38-24, in a league challenge.
