Washington High School Football - West Valley thwarted by Sunnyside
October 4, 2024: Sunnyside, WA 98944 Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting West Valley Rams (Yakima, WA), 34-3 in a league battle.
With the win, Sunnyside improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Davis (Yakima, WA) to play the Pirates in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle on Friday, October 11. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Davis lost 47-42 in their recent league battle against West Valley (Yakima, WA)
The Rams now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Wenatchee for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle on Friday, October 11. West Valley will play a Panthers team coming off a 42-24 league loss to Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
