Washington High School Football - Sunnyside sneaks past Wenatchee
October 24, 2024: Sunnyside, WA 98944 The Sunnyside Grizzlies football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Wenatchee Panthers to 15 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Thursday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eisenhower for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 test on Friday, November 1. Sunnyside will meet a Cadets squad coming off a 41-21 league loss to Davis (Yakima, WA). The Cadets record now stands at 2-6.
With the defeat, Wenatchee drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Southridge (Kennewick, WA) to meet the Suns in a non-league test on Thursday, October 31. The Suns come into the test with a record of 4-4. Southridge won 55-0 in their recent league test against Hanford (Richland, WA)
