October 11, 2024: Spring Creek, NV 89815 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) and the host Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), witnessed Churchill County's football squad knock off Spring Creek by a tally of 36-8.
The Greenwave (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Elko was toppled by Truckee (Truckee, CA), 24-21, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Spartans battle the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a contest, on Friday, October 18. Spring Creek will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Vaqueros enter the contest with a 0-8 record after their 28-7 non-league loss to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).
