The Bishop O'Connell Knights tipped the visiting Bishop Ireton Cardinals football squad by a margin of 33-28 in Saturday's league test.

The Knights now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary's Ryken for a non-league game on Saturday, October 18. Bishop O'Connell will face a Knights team coming off a 48-14 non-league win over Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
