Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Mission Eagles (Mission, TX) and the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), observed Mission's volleyball team top Juarez-Lincoln by a tally of 3-0.

The Eagles (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Roma (Roma, TX). The Gladiators go into the 5A Region IV District 30 test with a 10-20 record. In their last test, Roma was defeated by Cigarroa (Laredo, TX), 3-0, in a league test.

The Huskies now own a 2-18 record. They take the field next when they host Rio Grande City for a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, October 14. Juarez-Lincoln will meet a Rattlers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Martin (Laredo, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 6-13.
