Texas High School Volleyball - Nixon over Mission

The Nixon Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Mission Eagles to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 16-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roma for a 5A Region IV District 30 game on Tuesday, September 30. Nixon will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX). The Gladiators record now stands at 10-18.

The Eagles (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Martin (Laredo, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region IV District 30 game with a 7-17 record. In their last outing, Martin was topped by Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX), 3-0, in a league outing.
