California High School Volleyball - Venice edged by Millikan
October 11, 2025: Long Beach, CA 90815 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA) and the visiting Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA), observed Millikan's volleyball team hold off Venice by a count of 2-1.
The Rams (22-10) will now prepare for their contest against Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA). The Bruins enter the non-league contest with a 18-12 record. In their last contest, Woodrow Wilson got by Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Gondoliers battle the Hamilton Yankees (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western contest, on Monday, October 13. Venice will attempt to improve on its 27-10 season record. The Yankees go into the battle with a 7-16 record after their 3-1 league win over Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA).
