In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting River Bluff Gators volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Porter-Gaud Cyclones.

With the win, River Bluff advances its record to 27-12 on the season. The Gators travel to Greenville (Greenville, SC) to face the Red Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Red Raiders go into the test with a record of 19-5. Greenville won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Musselman (Inwood, WV)

The Cyclones now sport a 21-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wando for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 16. Porter-Gaud will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league win over Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 31-10.
